Tom Horton for two TDs all in the first half as Garner JV rolls over Apex 53-6. Alston ties the school record with 99-yard TD run and adds 38-yard TD run and catches 19-yard TD pass from Dunn, who has three scoring throws in the half. Dunn 72-yard strike to Horton on the first play from scrimmage and 8-yarder both in the 1st quarter as Garner dashes to 41-0 lead at the break.
Aundre Henry adds his 7th TD of the season to the scoring.
Taije McCullough TD runs of 20 & 4-yards after the half completes the scoring. Like most of the season,
Joshua Nikolich and
Andrew Vines lead the Garner defense that allows just one first down and net 20 yards to the JV Cougars in the first half.
Raynel Butler records interception and
Treavion Campbell fumble recovery, Vines punt block &
Alex Ellis interception adds to the Garner +18 takeaway margin for the season. Coach Lee's
8-1 JV Trojans who complete their season vs Middle Creek next Thursday.
