Krissy D'Arco socks 2-run homer, Haleigh Joyner has 3-RBI in #7th ranked Garner 17-7 demolition of SWAC foe Apex in their regular season finale. Mikayla Brumbles 3-for-3, RBI & Sam Weidner, Ashton Thomas, Kaitlin Robeson, Ashton Harris, Sam Armstrong, Sydney Jones and Hannah Kennovin each record a hit and an RBI for the Trojans (16-3). Weidner gets the win with 3IP 2-hitter with Jordan Mitchell finishing up with 3 relief innings. Garner awaits their NCHSAA 4A seed this weekend ahead of the May 9th first round. Coach Barbour's teams have reached the 3rd round in three consecutive years.
