Ridley powers Lady Trojans past Cardinal Gibbons

Savannah Ridley slams her 3rd homer this week and Ashton Harris perfect 4-4 at the plate in Lady Trojans 12-3 win at Cardinal Gibbons. Garner improves to 9-1 for the season. Ridley 2-run homer (part of her 8 RBIs in last 3 games) stakes Coach Barbour’s 7th-ranked squad to early lead. Harris adds 4RBI & Payton Brooks is 2-2, with 2RBI. Mikayla Brumbles records two hits & Ashton Thomas has 2RBI for starter Sam Weidner who gets the win with complete game 4-hitter.

Graham Wilkins and Nolan McLean collect the only Garner hits in 20-4 loss to the Crusaders. Wilkins 2-RBI single gave the Trojans a brief 4-3 lead before Cardinal Gibbons 17 hit barrage. Jackson Mitchell coaxes two walks in his only plate appearances as Garner drops to 10-2. 

JV Trojans stay unbeaten 13-4 win over Cardinal Gibbons, now 11-0 for the season. Will Lee a perfect 4-4 with two doubles and 2RBI. Zach Roddenberry has three hits, RBI & two hits each from Rafeal Morero and Kaden Brown, who scored four times. Morero tallies 2RBI and Harrison Garner has 3-RBI single for the good guys. RBI each for Michael Hamling & Michael Redd.

John Faison claims his singles match and teams with Tyler Reyes for doubles win in Trojan tennis 5-4 SWAC loss at Fuquay. Spencer Kieft & Wrenn Dawson earn singles wins for Garner.
