Nunley claims National titles; Ross, Terry advance at New Balance Nationals

Freshman Alex Nunley captures the 60m, 60m hurdles, 200m & 400m 15-16 year old titles at the 2018 AAU Indoor T&F Youth National Championship. Nunley, who captured the same 4 events last year, is 7-time National Champ this year after winning the 100m, 100m hurdles & 200m hurdles at 2017 USATF Junior Olympics in Lawrence KS

Indoor State Champions RJ Terry and Randolph Ross compete in the New Balance Nationals in New York. Ross records 6-10.75 high jump good for 4th in the nation (and new school record, upping the 6 ft-10in record he set at 2018 NCHSAA 4A Indoor Championship & shared with Daryl Saunders, 2011.) Ross runs 48.44 in 400m to qualify for the New Balance Nationals Championship finals where he sets new school record with 48.36. Ross ran 22.72 in the Emerging Elite 200m. Terry runs 6.93 to advance to the Championship 60m semifinals.
