Wolfpack soccer star Manny Perez (‘17) earns ACC Freshman of the Year. Perez scored 3 game-winning goals & 14 points this season for #22 NC State, currently awaiting their NCAA Tournament seed. He was named the All-conference 2nd team. Perez scored the game-winner for State vs #5 Clemson in his first ACC match. His 2 goal, assist performance led the Pack past #7 Virginia Tech. He recorded the clutch game-winner to down Elon in his remarkable freshman year, twice earning National Player of the Week honors. He was named to the All-Conference 2nd team.
