Trojans sweep the Comets

The Trojans take down Clayton 6-1 behind Jacob Baker's second win of the season. Baker has 11 k's tonight, Hunter Brown bangs 2-run home run to right field and Ricky Martin and Philip Myrick pick up two hits each. Drew Gay finishes up the seventh on the mound. Their fourth game in five days, the Trojans are 3-2 this season:

JV Trojans win third
The JV Trojans top Clayton 12-5 at Trojan Park. Wil Norris picks up his second the win of the season. Scotty McCreery came in relief and completes the win. CJ Schmitt and Brett Bailey both hit home runs. Bailey's homer is his 3rd of the season. McCreery went 2-3, Brett Walters went 2-4 and Colin Perry and Josh Randle both went 1-3. The Trojans (3-1) get a week off before facing Fuquay next Wednesday.
